Oakland, CA – NWPC’s Alameda North Chapter will kick off the East Bay 2014 political season with its largest event of the year, the annual Susan B. Anthony “Women of the Year” Awards.
Kris Perry and Sandy Stier, lead plaintiffs in the challenge to Proposition 8, will be honored as Advocates of the Year, and Assembly Member Nancy Skinner will be honored as Elected Leader of the Year.
